Abstract

Central Kalimantan Province is one of the provinces that became a tourist destination and enjoy the rampant development of the tourism industry. As one of the tourism destinations in order to support the achievement of Indonesia's tourism development objectives, Central Kalimantan has conducted various tourism development activities. Umbang river beach is one of the beach tourism in West Kotawaringin regency which is still rarely visited by tourists. Named Umbang River Beach because of the mouth of the river that directly connects towards the open sea. Along the edge of the beach there are trees that are still beautiful, so it is very comfortable in this Umbng River Beach, enjoy the cool beach breeze under shady trees. Umbang River Beach is a tourist attraction that still needs a lot of improvement development, starting from the facility, the example should add a gazebo, garbage bin and other supporters. The management of Umbang River Beach is still very limited due to the limited human resources available. By making a strategy based on SWOT analysis, the coast of Umbang River could develop better.
