Abstract
This study aims to find out the ideal Marketing Strategy to increase tourist visits in Candi Pendem Magelang. The problem that Candi Pendem faced as a historical destination is the absence of organization and managers, so that this temple seems neglected, lacks qualified in facilities, poor accessibility, and marketing that is not done at all. As a historical tourist destination in Magelang which has very many competitors, it is necessary to design the right strategy in attracting tourist visits. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collected using observation techniques, interviews, questionnaires and interviews. Then the data is processed using a SWOT analysis, from this result the researcher analyzes the data in order to find a solution in the form of a marketing strategy in increasing tourist visits in Candi Pendem Magelang, Central Java.
