Abstract

Goa Siluman is one of the stopover relics of Yogyakarta Palace that need to be preserved because it is one of the cultural sites that have high historical value. Here the author intends to preserve Goa Siluman because it is one of the potential heritage attractions in Yogyakarta. The method undertaken by the author is by qualitative research and using data processing with SWOT method. The results of this study concluded that the role of society is very important to preserve Goa Siluman, therefore the government hand wich is Balai Cagar Budaya must work together with the community to preserve Goa Siluman by increasing the promotion, add facilities and empowering the society around Goa Siluman.
