Abstract

The potential of tourism in Sragen is actually very large, by exploring the potential and management in various tourist attractions. As one of the dam that have great potential, one of them is tourism potential. To be able to realize the potential, need a strategy such as promotion to introduce tourism Blimbing dam in Sragen. Based on research that has been done writer at Blimbing dam in Sragen, writer use qualitative method in this research. The role of the community around the Blimbing dam as a tourist attraction is like opening shops and food stalls when visitors have finished enjoying the beauty of the Blimbing dam. Although there is no role from the Tourism Department, Blimbing dam are still able to attract tourists though not so much
