Abstract

This research is about “Pelestarian Busana Sikepan sebagai Busana Khas Abdi Dalem Yogyakarta” to make sikepan keep awake, preserved and non extinct. Their research using data collection method with observation, interview, qualitative method by analyzing SWOT. Sikepan is Javanese costume that used Abdi Dalem in Yogyakarta when they full filled their diuties and obligations for Keraton Yogyakarta and another sacred place in Yogyakarta. But over the time, Sikepan clothing began to forgotten because of modernization. A long time ago Sikepan clothing worn for daily bu Abdi Dalem Yogyakarta community. It is include surjan, blangkon, keris, jarik, boro, kamus timang and selop.
