Abstract

Desa Wisata Tamansari is one of the natural tourist destination, nuanced rural and has historical value in the village. So this study is aimed to determine (1) The Management of Desa Wisata Tamansari (2) The role of society in the management of Desa Wisata Tamansari (3) The role of government in the management of Desa Wisata Tamansari. The research method used was qualitative. Data collection techniques do interviews, observation, documentation and triangulation. Data processing techniques of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The analysis is a SWOT analysis. Based on research result show that : (1) The management of Desa Wisata Tamansari is managed by Kalibening Village community. Desa Wisata Tamansari has established an organizational structure, less facilities such as toilets that still need repair, road access needs to be addressed, social networking is needed as a media campaign. (2) The community is directly involved in the management of Desa Wisata Tamansari such as: participating in management, maintaining local wisdom, and participating in gotong royong activities. (3) The government has not contributed nor contributed to the management and the government has not provided any funds, because the government handed over direct management and management to the local community.
