Abstract

Begawe is customary activity that accompanies a series of events in a nyongkolan procession on the tribe sasak lombok, west nusa tenggara. This activity is the form of cooking done by the men only while the woman serve in the house to prepare a series of needsfor the occasion of the nyongkolan. In preservation of begawe traditon, it is necessary to have tourism in the community so that people are able to see opportunities and able to contribute in tourism.
