Abstract

Culture is a way of life that is developed and shared by a group of people and has been passed down from generation to generation. Culture that has been inherent in the community and has been hereditary since the first, will be more terkonsep in the life of society so that it becomes a belief in things related to a belief that is difficult to be eliminated. Researt outcome processing by qualitative method and success of intimal and external factor to make a SWOT analysis, SWOT analysis is the identification of factors systematically to formulate the strategy. The role of community in the preservation of Pura Lingsar is to maintain the culture and historical wisdom of Pura Lingsar by giving accurate information about history and culture of Pura Lingsar especially the culture that is by keeping the ritual exists as usual. Examples such as circumcision events. Circumcision are usually held in the mosque, but before going to the mosque, carrying out a haircut ritual at Pura Lingsar and bathing at the watering, afterwards, can observe a circumcision ceremony at the mosque.
