Abstract

The tradition of torch ceremony has the potential for uniqueness that is worth preserving and promoting as it includes cultural tourism. So this study aims to know. (1) To find a solution to the existing problems for the implementation of the Torch war tradition. (2) To make the Torch war tradition one of the cultural traditions known both inside and outside of horror. The research method used is qualitative research method. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation technique. Data processing techniques are data reduction, Data presentation, Conclusion or verification. And Analysis of data used is SWOT Analysis. Based on the results of the study indicates that (1) with the preservation of Torch war tradition this can affect the increasing number of tourist arrivals coming to the village of Tegalsambi jepara.(2)the role of society is to teach the history of the beginning of the tradition of the war of torch to the next generation and by increasing efforts in introducing the tradition of torch war
