Abstract

The Air Island area is an areaconsisting of four islands. Two of them are the main islands which have several potentials, including the gap of the island that is divided so as to form a flow like a river, thesea water is calm, clear and overgrown with a variety of marinebiota so this area is very suitable as a snorkeling spot. The researcher usedqualitative methods with datacollection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, anddirect observation at region of air island. Region of air island has a lotof tourism potential that needs to bedeveloped in order to attract moretourists. So, managers need to worktogether with the surrounding community to develop and optimize their potential.
