Abstract

The reason of this observation is to knowing the society involvement and strategy of development as an attraction in Magelang. Type of research used in this research is descriptive by using qualitative approach. Technique of collecting data in this research with observation (observation), interview, and documentation. Pereng Duwet istourism attraction that offering a nature landscape and sunrise view. Located in Desa Ngadiharjo, Kecamatan Borobudur Magelang. Pereng Duwet has Menoreh hill view and all around it. Pereng Duwet has a beautifull panorama of hills, ricefield, and Candi Borobudur. The lack of facilities organizing has made Pereng Duwet struggle to developed. Because of that, Pereng Duwet need a strategy to developed it by organization maintenance, facilities upgrade and enlarge the promotion target.
