Abstract

Bantul Regency has a lot of attractions. One of them is Sri Opak's campsite. Very needed strategy from the manager and the government in the development of tourist attraction in Bantul district, especially at Sri Opak campsite. Type of research used in this research is descriptive by using qualitative approach. Technique of collecting data in this research by using observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate that one of the efforts undertaken by the camp manager Sri Opak is to maximize the construction of facilities with development strategies that have been planned by the manager one of them by adding new rides that can be used by all circles and add directions for order facilitate tourist access. The community also plays an important role for the development of Sri Opak's campsite. Community participation in the area of the campsite of Sri Opak is manifested in the form of participation both physical and material and participation on tourism socialization
