Abstract
Tablolong Beach is one of the beautiful beaches that are interesting to visit. Tablolong has been widely known by the people of Kupang and overseas because of its location closer to the capital of NTT Province The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data processing techniques are reduction, data collection, and conclusion. The data analysis used is the SWOT analysis. The results of the study show that (1) One of the development strategies in an effort to maintain the nature and beauty of the sea, especially Tablolong beach tourism, includes strong cooperation between local governments, managers and communities. (2) The role of the community in developing Tablolong beach tourism in the Kupang Regency community has sought to develop Tablolong beach by developing tourism potential that exists in Tablolong beach tourism. The role of the community in supporting the development of Tablolong beach, among others, the construction of tourism facilities enjoyed by local visitors and foreign tourists who will spend their holidays with family
