Abstract

Taman dan Bukit Sakura Lawu is one of the new tourist destinations in Karanganyar Central Java. In this tourist attraction there are cherry blossoms as the main icon. The planting of cherry trees in this tourist attraction as a sign of friendship between the Indonesian government and Japan that has been well established for 60 years. The research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis with data collection method through observation, interview, documentation, questionnaire and in analysis by using SWOT analysis. The steps that are used to develop the tourism objects of Taman dan Bukit Sakura Lawu begin with drawing up the concept of a development plan by utilizing the natural resources around it. In addition, both of superintendent field and the Perhutani KPH Surakarta are very active in promoting the object of this wizard
