Abstract

The background of this research is the existence of Curup Panjang Waterfall object in Lahat regency, South Sumatra where Curup Panjang Waterfall tour is included as a potential tourism object in Lahat Regency. However, in the management of this attraction Curup Long Waterfall has decreased quality and visitors. This is because there is no coordination between the parties concerned. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, documentation and questionnaire as supporting data. The data collected is also sourced from various sources, such as: Management of Curup Panjang Tourism Object, related Government, and the public around Curup Long attraction. From this research resulted some effort that can be done to develop Curup Panjang Waterfall object to become the leading destination in Lahat Regency. Where such development efforts require good cooperation and support from the parties concerned. Like, the manager of Curup Panjang Waterfall Tourism Object should coordinate with the government and investors in the management of the attraction of Curup Long Waterfall.
