Abstract

Sempor Reservoir is one of the tourism destinations in Kebumen Regency, which has a natural potential of reservoirs and pine forests. The manager of the Sempor added new attraction canoe boats. The canoe boats couldn’t fulfill the manager's desire to make a canoe as a superior attraction that could increase competitiveness with other regions. This study uses qualitative methods through observation, interviews, documentation and SWOT analysis with the aim to give solution for manager of Sempor Reservoir. Some solution was found for the management to improve facilities such as making feasible docks and information boards. Make variations art on canoe boats. Increase promotions through sports canoe boat events, and advertise on a billboard. Conduct socialization to managers and society with experts in the field of tourism to implement accommodation efforts for the community, and the importance of human resources and hospitality in tourism objects.
