Abstract

This study discusses management and development Palayangan River is the name of the river which has only been manage since 1997, precisely in the Regency of Magelang. This park is located in Pangalengan, Bandung Regency, West Java. As new tourism objects in Bandung need to be raised to attract development and to attract tourist visits This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collected using observation techniques, interviews, documents, and questionnaires. Then the data is processed using a SWOT analysis, interview sampling is taken from the community, visitors, managers. Based on the SWOT analysis used by this study, it can be seen as to how the Tourisem Palayangan River by knowing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
