Abstract
Wisma Bougenville is a building that was built in 1862. For the chief administrator (Hoofdadministrateur) in the Dutch colonial period, Wisma Bougenville located on Gegedeg street, Tanjung Pendam Beach Area, Tanjung Pandan Belitung. Wisma Bougenville later became the property of PT. Timah. Wisma Bougenville was handed over by PT. Timah to the Provincial Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands which was used as cultural heritage assets as well, as the heritage tourism, and well as lodging. The research method used is the qualitative method. While the data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, and literature studies. After the data obtained is collected then the data analysis is performed using SWOT analysis techniques. The results of the research show that: The strategy for managing Wisma Bougenville can be implemented if there is a cooperative relationship between the government / administrator and the local community and young generation, adding new attractions, maximizing promotions, increasing security, providing tour guides, and maintaining the original condition of the building. But in its management in terms of funding that is still limited, it is difficult for investors to enter, the promotion is not optimal, there is no community involvement, and the security system is not good. For this reason, it can be concluded that if the management of Wisma Bougenville as a heritage tourism attraction when more managed and developed can have a positive impact such as increasing regional economy, cultural conservation, opportunities for the welfare of the surrounding community, and increasing the number of tourist visits to Belitung Regency through the tourism sector.
