Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the management effort of Omah Salak to become an educational tourism that attracts the tourists and how the role of society and the government in management of Omah Salak. In this article the author use qualitive research methods. Qualitive research method is a research method based on postpotitivism philosophy, that used to examine the condition of natural objects where researchers are as a key instrument and qualitive research result more amphasis on the meaning than generalization. Turi is famous as the one of the centre of the snake fruit cultivation. Omah Salak located in Turi as aducational tourism that not only invites tourists to taste the snake fruits only, but rather teaches the tourists about the cultivation of the fruits. The cool air and clean place makes tourists feel comfortable while visiting
