Abstract

This study examines the Development of Tourism Potential in Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta, namely the Puncak Kosakora. Therefore, it is related to tourism development by describing things that explain how to develop tourism in the Puncak Kosakora. This study uses descriptive methods with qualitative data. Aims to reveal the data that exists as well as, describe and interpret something as it is. The research is conducted by observing and descending directly into the field or place of research so that they know and get to know more closely the observed object. Puncak Kosakora is one of the tourist destinations in the Gunungkidul area with very beautiful natural scenery. But until now the Peak of Vocabulary still needs to be developed, in order to attract even more visitors. The Development of Puncak Kosakora can be done by improving infrastructure and human resources to be better in managing the Puncak kosakora. So that the Puncak kosakora can be a superior tour, with the development of the Puncak Kosakora will also influence the economy of the surrounding community
