Abstract

Umbul Songo Waterfall is one of the natural attractions in Kopeng Semarang, Central Java, besides waterfall, this place is also a cool natural forest area. Tourism development requires the right policy to be a guide for future strategic action By utilizing easy access to the Umbul Songo Waterfall as well as budget funds from the National Park headquarters the priority strategies that can be undertaken to increase tourist visits are: a) improvements large all existing facilities and reactivate facilities that potentially attract tourists. b) an increase in promotion so as not to lose compete with the surrounding attractions. c) improving the quality of local people's human resources, d) capital policy for local people in developing tourism-supportive businesses, e) counseling and guidance for local communities to engage directly in tourism services and natural resource maintenance.
