Abstract
The problem discussed in this study is the effort to develop Kampung Dolanan Pandes as a child-friendly tourist village in Bantul, Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the development efforts, existing tourist attraction components, and efforts to maintain the existence of tourism in Kampung Dolanan Pandes The research method used in this study is the qualitative method. While the data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and literature studies. After the data obtained was collected, the data was analyzed by using the SWOT technique. The results of the study show that: the formation of Kampung Dolanan originated from Nyai Sompok which is a descendant of Majapahit. Arrival of Nyai Sompok in dusun Pandes then spread the skills to make children's games. The development strategy of Kampung Dolanan Pandes can be implemented if there is a good cooperative relationship between the local government, managers and the community. But in its development in terms of facilities, Human Resources, funding, regulation, and technology are still obstacles. For this reason, it can be concluded that the strategy for developing the Kampung Dolanan Pandes can give a positive impact on the regional economic aspects and the preservation of cultural heritage in Bantul, Yogyakarta. With the existing potential, increasing the quality of the number of human resources, improvement in various fields, some of these efforts will have an impact on increasing tourist visits from inside and outside the country, besides that it can maintain the culture so that it continues to exist.
