Abstract

Tourism object Gunung Ireng is located in Gunung Kiduldistrict, precisely at Ngrancahan. Patuk subdistrict. Gunung Ireng is a mountain that have a beautiful panorama and also have cool air. The research method used in this study is qualitative method. While the data collection technique used in this study were observation, interviews, documentation and analyzed by SWOT method. The result of the study is show that tourism object Gunung Ireng has potential for a tourism potential development in Gunung Kidul. Need good cooperation between manager and also the government to get maximum results for tourism growth.
