Abstract

Bukit Bangkirai is located in Kutai Kartanegara district of East Kalimantan that has the potential of natural tropical rain forest tourism with the diversity of flora and fauna also has a favorite attraction of canopy bridge. But the absence of RIPARDA on the development of tourist attraction, especially in Bukit Bangkirai, inadequate accessibility, lack of experts in the field of tourism and lack of knowledge about forest conservation community. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using observation data collection method, interview, questionnaire, documentation, and literature study and analysis in the form of SWOT analysis. By making RIPARDA about the development of tourist attraction, especially in Bukit Bangkirai for the optimal development of Bukit Bangkirai. utilize the CSR program to the maximum possible maintenance and repair of existing accessibility. Enhance the creativity and quality of managers in the field of tourism by providing specialized training on tourism science for all workers in Bukit Bangkirai with internal training held as one way to increase knowledge and knowledge of the work to organize a foreign language program for all employees or opening vacancies for workers experts in the field of pariwsata, providing public education about the importance of forest conservation.
