Abstract

Liang Beach offers beautiful scenery with sparkling white sand when exposed to sunlight, as if it were the entrance to the beauty of the blue sea gradation. Visitors can do various activities such as swimming, boat riding, snorkeling and diving because the waves are quite calm. The problem that occurs is the development of Liang Beach is not optimal. Here the author intends to propose a strategy for developing Liang Beach because it is one of the potential marine tourism objects in Maluku. The method carried out by the author is by qualitative research and using data processing with the SWOT method. The results of this study concluded that Liang Beach potential need to be developed properly. Good relationship between government and local people would be a great opportunity to make Liang beach a leading coastal and marine tourism object which can also increase community welfare.
