Abstract

Nyadran Dam Bagong is a tradition from Trenggalek area which is usually commemorated on Friday Kliwon Selo in Javanese Month. Dam Bagong is a dam that divides the Bagong river which is used to irrigate rice fields in the city of Trenggalek. The first time the Dam Bagong was built by Adipati Menak Sopal who was also the founder of the forerunner of the city of Trenggalek. This research aim is to find the suitable concept for preserving the tradition of nyadran dam bagong as cultural tourism in Trenggalek . This research is qualitative descriptive and use SWOT analysismto analyze the datas.
