Abstract

The problem discussed in this study is the management of Glugut Park objects as educational tourism objects in Bantul district. This study aims to determine the management that have been carried out at Glugut Park. The research method used in this study is the qualitative method. While the data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and literature studies. After the data obtained was collected, the data was analyzed by using the SWOT technique. The results of the study show that: Glugut park is education tourism can be carried out if there is a good relationship between local government, managers and the people. But in its development in terms of Human Resources, facilities, infrastructure and promotion are still obstacles and become the task of many participants. For this reason, it can be concluded that the to management glugut park can have a positive impact in terms of regional economic aspects and management of Glugut Park objects as educational tourism objects in Bantul district. With the existing potential, increasing the quality of human resources, improvement in various fields, some of these efforts will have an impact on increasing tourist visits from inside and outside the country, besides that it increase education tourism in various circles.
