Abstract

The author takes the title of developing the Benteng Pendem Cilacap in Central Java, an educational tour in the form of Dutch heritage buildings, this qualitative research uses a literature study approach . Data obtained from interviews,questionnaires,documenta tion, and observations, with data analysis tools in the form of SWOT analysis methods , analysis of internal & external environmental factors, the results of the research that the development of Benteng Pendem must be maximized . With the role of the Government, the role of the Community, and Promotion being done better, so that Pendem Fortress develops and becomes an interesting tourist attraction .
