Abstract

Cultural and ecotourism villanges are one of in Bantul district. The author of a scientific article that the author completed about Mulyodadi cultural village and ecotourism with qualitative methods. Cultural villange and ecotourism mulyodadi is located in the government office of the mulyodadi village. Cultural villages and ecotourism is a cultural village that preserves arts such as ketoprak, jatilan, karawitan srandul which young people have not enjoyed much and for its ecotourism is to preserve the gayam trees that cannot be found around Mulyodadi The method used in this study is qualitative methods and SWOT analysis, research aims to answer. Formulation of the problem regarding what obstacles are faced in development of ecotourism in Mulyodadi and how the role of local government and communities in developing the cultural village of Mulyodadi as a leading tourist destination with ecotourism concept. Mulyodadi village are still not aware of the importance of preserving the gayam tree because from gayam tree the community can increase the family economy and in developing ecotourism villages with the effort to propose the ecotourism with the effort to propose the ecotourism village as a leading tourist destination in Bantul
