Abstract

Tanjungpandan city is one of the cities on the island of Belitung. in Tanjungpandan City, there is a Sijuk sub-district. In the subdistrict of Sijuk there is a natural tourist destination namely mangrove Kuale. Mangroves Kuale have beautiful scenery and is still natural. As a natural tourist destination in mangrove Kuale, there are many types of marine biota such as crabs, shellfish and fish. and there are also rare plants namely white orchids that grow between mangrove trees. The research uses qualitative method as a research procedure that produce descriptive data by conducting interview, observation, documentation and triangulation. This research focuses on the development of a tourist attraction and tointroduce the Mangrove Kuale to local tourist and foreign tourist to increase tourist visits to Mangrove Kuale. Managers play an important role in mangrove operations. The manager has made various facilities, namely toilets, inns, restaurants and other supporting facilitie.
