Abstract

Pule Payung is one of nature-based tourist attractions located in Hamlet Saropati, Hargotirto Village, Kokak District, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta, which is still in the development stage, this tour is still new. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of this research is the development of Pule Payung. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data processing is done by reduction, display, verification and triamplation. Analysis of data using SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, threat). The results show that Pule Payung has good tourism potential and human resources who already understand tourism awareness, but there are still many facilities that must be added and directions as supporting accessibility in Pule Payung.
