Abstract

Speelwijk Fort is a building that depicts the symbol of Dutch colonialism, located in Pamarican, Kasemen Subdistrict, Serang City, Banten Province. The area of Benteng Speelwijk is ± 2 hectares. The building is still pure, but there are some that have been destroyed and not maintained, the environment around the fort is also dirty. Speelwijk Fort does not yet have facilities. The road access that has to be passed is not good because there are still many holes with a lack of direction signs. However, at this time the government has begun to make road repairs, held counseling and socialization to the community because public awareness of tourism is still lacking. The government also plays a role in the development and promotion that has been carried out through several media such as print media and social media to increase the number of historical tourist visits at Fort Speelwijk.
