Abstract

This research is about a recommendation in the form of a development strategy to develop Balla Lompoa as a cultural heritage in increasing tourist visits, in South Sulawesi. This study is a qualitative method. which is in Balla Lompoa. Information obtained from the informant was in the form of information about the development carried out on Balla Lompoa. The results of the study show that the development of Balla Lompoa Tourism that has been carried out has gone well and is very effective. Judging from several developments carried out such as revitalizing the Balla Lompoa Museum to be more interesting, cultural excitement has always been carried out such as Accera Kalompoang, the changing ceremony to guard the army troops every month, the place of ri gowa or the birthday of the Prophet. society is not only concerned with mere needs. With the nature of caring and supporting the development of traditional balla lompoa houses in the community, it will be able to influence the interests of the people themselves, and even other people participate. With a sense of cooperation between communities, it can affect the level of tourist visits.
