Abstract

Indonesia has big and unique tourism potential that has the potential to become an attractive tourist attraction. For example, the Gunung Padang Megalithic Site in Cianjur Regency, West Java, is one of the regions that has a lot of tourism potential that still needs to be developed to become a tourist attraction that can be visited by tourists and has a positive impact on the surrounding community. The method used for data collection is a qualitative research method, namely by way of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. From the results of the research, it is known that the Gunung Padang site is a piramida stepped - a very beautiful steps built in the megalithic era, this makes many tourists visit and development can be done in the area around Gunung Padang by the government and Juru Pelihara, while the surrounding community is only a small part which are involved.
