Abstract

The located of Cibodas Botanical Garden is in Cimacan Village, Cianjur Regency, West Java. Cibodas Botanical Garden is one of the botanical gardens in Indonesia which has a main function as a conservation place because it is a part of the Buffer Zone which is under Mount Gede Pangrango, as a place for collection of ex-situ vegetation and scarce vegetation, as a research site, as a place of environmental education , and Tourism. The main function will be balanced if it is accompanied by good management such as adequate human resources for maintenance of all the potential inside, relationship beetwen human resource must be solid, structured regulations, complete and adequate facilities, adequate access, structured organization, also supported by maximum and broad promotion. The management inside Cibodas Botanical Garden has been structured with government regulations. Beside that, the maintenance and development is still not maximized due to lack of human resources and funding. The research method used to verify the attractions of Cibodas Botanical Gardens is a qualitative method.
