Abstract

Eksotika Krasak Jolontoro is a tourist attraction located in the district of Sleman that presents nature tourism. This tourist attraction is still relatively new abd can be further developed into a famous tourist attraction and can be attract a variety of tourisr. This study aims to determine the management of EKJ, know the role of the government, the role of the community in promoting tourist activities. The research method used was qualitative. Data collection techniques do ointerviews, observasion, documentation, and quistionnaire. Data Processing techniques of data reducition, data presentation, verification and triangulation. The analysis is a SWOT analysis. Based in research result show that (1) EKJ has good tourism potential to be further developed into tourism object but has disadvantages in therns of facilities promotions . this is do to lack of funding. (2) the government has played a role in fostering existing human resources. (3) community empowerment has been going well , such as being a guide or manager of these attractions
