Abstract

The problem discussed in this study is how the development of Sei Bakau Beach as a tourist attraction in Seruyan Regency, Central Kalimantan. This study aims to determine the strengths and weaknesses as well as how to overcome problems in Sei Bakau Beach. The research method used in this study is the qualitative method. While the data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and literature studies. After the data obtained was collected, the data was analyzed by using the SWOT technique. The results showed that: Sei Bakau Beach attractions actually have as good potential as the beaches in Seruyan Regency, the potential that exists if developed properly can have a positive impact on the economy of the community in the tourist area of Sei Bakau. Beach and surroundings. For this reason, it can be concluded that Sei Bakau Beach has very good potential and there are still many shortcomings that must be considered and developed by Sei Bakau Beach in order to become a leading tourist destination known to many people both inside and outside the region.
