Abstract

This research discusses the potential possessed by Bayan Waterfall Attraction in Ketenger, Baturraden, Banyumas, Central Java. Which is one of the best waterfalls in the Baturraden area. Beautiful waterfalls, fresh and clear water, beautifully carved stones, and unspoiled natural beauty attract tourists who come to visit, with an active and passive role that the community adds to perfect harmony for a tourist destination . This research method used is using qualitative methods with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation with data processing systems using SWOT analysis, sampling with interviews and questionnaires taken from visitors, traders, and managers. The strategy to be able to develop the potential of Bayan Waterfall is to improve accessibility by adding signposts, adding resting facilities, toilets, and places of worship, adding tourist attractions such as playing and photographing areas, maximizing promotion and marketing so Curug Bayan increasingly developing into nature-based tourist attractions that can rely on Banyumas district, Central Java.
