Abstract

Magelang Regency is one of the districts in Central Java. In Magelang Regency there are tourist destinations, namely Banybiru Tourism Village. Banyubiru Village is located in Dukun District. Banyubiru Tourism Village has a natural tourism icon in the form of Mount Gono Hill. As a tourist village destination there are many educational tours, historical tours and traditional arts that are still maintained. This research uses qualitative methods as a research procedure that produces descriptive data by conducting observations, interviews, documentation and triangulation. This research focuses on the introduction and management of Banyubiru Tourism Village to local and foreign tourists in order to increase tourist visits to Banyubiru Tourism Village. Managers play an important role in the operation of tourist villages. Managers with the village government have built facilities. Local governments assist in preparing feasibility studies. The community as managers plays a role in the activities of tourist villages and non-managers as providers of small shops.
