Abstract

The study was intended to know the role of community in this development as a tourist attraction in Wonogiri. The metode is used to examine the qualitative. Bukit Jonambang tourism object is a natural tourist attraction that offers a view of natural beauty. The location is in Desa Watuagung, Kecamatan Baturetno, Kabupaten Wonogiri which has natural potential that is still beautiful and can see the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir. At first the Jonambang hill was an arid hill. Awareness of people who do not understand the existence of this tourist place makes Jonambang Hill less well maintained. But there are still some that need to be added and improved such as facilities, accessibility, cleanliness and other alternative attractions and maximizing in promotion.
