Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the community and the development strategy in its development as a tourism resource in Belitung. Aliran Batu Air Sang tourism object is one of the attractions of the natural wizardry on Belitung Island which has different characteristics in the from of unspoiled swamps with panoramic views, beautiful nature potential as a fishing and culinary park to be fatured as a leading tourist attraction in Belitung. The active role of the community that supports the development of Aliran Batu Air Sang tourism object is already at the middle level, this can be seen from the access, human resource and relationship between human resource. What is needed by tourist in the tourist attractions of Aliran Batu Air Sang (ABAS) is already well available , but there are still some that need to be improved and added such as facilities and tourist attractions that are lacking and maximizing in promotion.
