Abstract

Kebonsari is a village that famous for its bamboo craft. Kebonsari Village located Borobudur subdistrict, Magelang Regency, Central Java. Kebonsari Village also has cultural activity such as Topeng Ireng Dance. And there still many other attraction in the Kebonsari Village. Kebonsari also has a Balkondes. Its function is to accommodate tourist that come to Kebonsari Village People of Kebonsari mostly work as bamboo craftsmen beside inside the village we can find their bamboo craft in the area of Borobudur temple, and some even marketed it to Sarawak. It is better to Kebonsari village to be developed into a real tourism village. So that the tourism potential of Kebonsari village is not vain This Scientific Article was written with a qualitative method as a research procedure that presents data in descriptive form by conducting interviews, observation, documentation, and triangulation. Research on Kebonsari Village aims to find a promotion strategy that is suitable for use by Kebonsari village so that the village of Kebonsari can become a sustainable tourism village
