Abstract

The Ki Ageng Tunggul Wulung Traditional Ceremony was held by the community as a form of respect for the spirit of Ki Ageng Tunggul Wulung and also as a gesture of gratitude to God and also as a form of petition to Him. Ki Ageng Tunggul Wulung ceremony held in Sendangagung village, Minggir District, Sleman. The purpose of this study was to find out how big the role of the government in supporting this ceremony and the benefits felt by the residents of Sendangagung Village, Minggir District, Sleman Regency with the holding of the Ki Ageng Tunggul Wulung Traditional Ceremony, both in economic, religious and social terms. Government of Sleman Culture Service work together to launch the process of Traditional Ceremony Ki Ageng Tunggul Wulung. The Culture Service also supports by providing budget funds for ceremonies. And also provide funds for the maintenance of ceremonial facilities.
