Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic Indonesia has had many impacts on various sectors, one of which in Yogyakarta. However, with the development of regulations regarding the adaptation of new habits, namely the New Normal, this regulation can open up hope and opportunities for the revival of the culinary tourism experiencing a large and wide impact, especially on traders or sellers of basic food ingredients. With the right new development strategy, this culinary tourism will be able to survive and compete in the New Normal era. Brongkos is one of the traditional foods in Sleman Regenvy, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Brongkos is known as a culinary that still uses traditional species. Brongkos Sleman is one of the culinary tours in Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Brongkos Sleman is a typical food in jogja, which was founded and managed individually. This study aims to examine the development of tourism potential during the Covid-19 pandemic by describing the development strategy of Brongkos Sleman located on Jalan Turi No. 10 Ngepos, Lumbungrejo, Tempel District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The author chose Brongkos Sleman because according to the author, this culinary tour has the potencial for interesting attractions and is not far behind the culinary tours around the Yogyakarta area.
