Abstract

Indonesia is very rich in tourism potential. The tourism potential of Indonesia is diverse, both in culture and natural locations that are very beautiful and recognized worldwide. Tourism has become a thriving and successful industry, but at the beginning of 2020, tourism in Indonesia experienced paralysis due to the spread of the Coronavirus or Covid-19. One of the affected regions in West Java due to the Covid-19 virus is Tasikmalaya Regency. Tasikmalaya Regency has many areas that are cool and serene, one of which is Curug Ciparay, a new tourist destination. This study aims to explore the development of Curug Ciparay in the new normal era using a SWOT analysis method. The results of the study indicate that the management of Curug Ciparay has developed in the new normal era by optimizing the potential of the tourist destination directly managed by the surrounding community.
