Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development strategy of ecotourism based on Enter Barcode technology at Bukit Peramun, Belitung Island. Bukit Peramun is an ecotourism destination that utilizes QR Code technology as a digital information medium for visitors, creating an interactive and educational tourism experience. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through observation, in-depth interviews with managers, tourists, and local communities, as well as documentation. The results show that the use of the Enter Barcode system is the main strength in developing ecotourism at Bukit Peramun because it enriches information about flora, fauna, and local culture in a practical way. However, several obstacles remain, such as limited supporting facilities, accessibility infrastructure, and insufficient promotion through broader digital media. The proposed development strategies include improving the quality of QR Code content, providing disabled-friendly tourism facilities, training local human resources, and strengthening social media-based promotions. The implementation of these strategies is expected to make Bukit Peramun a leading, competitive, and sustainable digital ecotourism destination.
