Abstract

Lewokluok Cultural Tourism Village is one of the villages in East Flores Regency that has a unique cultural heritage of the Lamaholot community. The uniqueness of this village is reflected in various aspects of the lives of its people, such as traditional houses, the art of ikat weaving that has been passed down from generation to generation, and traditional rituals that are still carried out today. In addition, traditional dance and music also glorify the cultural identity of this village. However, despite having strong cultural potential, the utilization and management of tourist villages are still not optimal. Various obstacles such as limited infrastructure, lack of promotion, and community-based management that is not yet optimal are challenges in its development. This study aims to identify the potential for developing Lewokluok Cultural Tourism Village as a cultural tourism attraction in East Flores Regency. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the development of cultural tourism villages can be done by increasing the role of the community in preserving culture, improving infrastructure, and optimizing digital-based promotions and ecotourism. It is hoped that this research can be a reference for the government and community in efforts to develop Lewokluok Village as a sustainable cultural tourism destination.
