Abstract

Semen Tourism Village, located in Blitar Regency, East Java, is a tourist destination offering the potential of natural attractions, cultural heritage, and creative economy. This study aims to evaluate the management strategies of Semen Tourism Village during the new normal era post-COVID-19, as well as to identify the obstacles and challenges faced in its development efforts. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, with information obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and secondary document analysis. The results indicate that the success of management relies on collaboration between the government, local managers, and the community. However, several challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, limited accessibility, and suboptimal facility management present significant hurdles. To address these challenges, this study recommends several strategic steps, including human resource training to improve service quality, digital-based promotion to attract more tourists, and the enhancement of supporting infrastructure such as roads, transportation, and accommodation facilities. This study concludes that a holistic and sustainable management approach can establish Semen Tourism Village as a competitive leading destination while simultaneously improving the welfare of the local community
