Abstract
Instagram application is a popular social media in the digital era like today. Its use is not only as social media but can also be one of the promotional media. Suraloka interactive zoo is a zoo located in kaliurang Yogyakarta. Suraloka interactive zoo has been actively using the Instagram application as a promotional medium since 2021. This study aims to analyze how the use of the Instagram application as a promotional media for Suraloka Interactive Zoo. The method used in this research is phenomenology with analysis using Nvivo 15pro software. The results of this study indicate that the utilization of the Instagram application as a promotional media for Suraloka Interactive Zoo is effective but the utilization is only effective for Instagram users and does not reach the whole. Therefore, in order to increase interest in tourist visits, it is recommended to optimize promotional strategies such as tiktok and increase visitor interaction or collaboration.
