Abstract

Parang Hamlet is one of the hamlets that has tourism potential in Semen Village, Blitar Regency. The potential highlighted is natural tourism with natural panoramas in the countryside, with these advantages it can be used as a tourist destination, one of which is Arung Parang Ecotourism. In Arung Parang Ecotourism, the appropriate 5A concept can be applied in the ecotourism. The purpose of this research in Arung Parang Ecotourism is as a way to apply the 5A component (Accessibility, Accomodation, Amenities, Attraction and Ancillary Service) by analyzing supporting and inhibiting factors. The study conducted in this study is a qualitative study using data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The form of data collection is carried out using tools in the form of scientific journal articles, theses, documentation networks and other sources. The data that has been obtained from the results of observations at Arung Parang Ecotourism is analyzed by triangulating data and determining the formulation of implementation by looking at the existing inhibiting factors. The results indicate that this Whitewater Rafting Ecotourism destination has natural potential that can be developed for tourism. However, the implementation of the 5A tourism components (Accessibility, Accommodation, Amenities, Attraction, and Ancillary Service) still requires improvement and enhancement.
